Sopiver 10 Tablet: Each tablet contains Sodium Picosulfate BP 10 mg.
Indications

Indicated in relief from functional, prolonged and recurrent constipation, bowel clearance before surgery, childbirth and radiological investigations.

Dosage & Administration

Adult and children above 10 years: 5 – 10 mg Tablet per day

Children aged 4-10 years: 2.5 – 5 mg Tablet per day

This medication is recommended to be taken at night to produce evacuation the following morning. The tablet should be swallowed with adequate ­fluid. The maintenance of an adequate ­fluid intake during treatment is essential, especially for younger patients and the elderly who are more susceptible to the effects of dehydration. Sodium Picosulfate should not be taken every day for more than five days without investigating the cause of constipation.
